The SMP-2 (Submersible Mobility Platform), or Crab Suit, is an adaptation of the RDA’s Amplified Mobility Platform (AMP), engineered for its Cetaceous Operations (Cet-Ops). These large mechs earned their name from their multi-legged, crablike appearance and are capable of rapid traversal on land and sea. Crab Suits are an essential component of the RDA’s construction and Tulkun processing operations, allowing a single pilot to easily perform tasks that require strength and dexterity above or below the waves. Armed with a rotary speargun, they are also a formidable asset in the ongoing conflict between the RDA and the ocean Na’vi clans over Tulkun hunting.
