The Yoten is a colorful lizard-like creature with a diverse range of mobility. Able to climb trees much like a chameleon, it curls up into a ball when threatened and rolls rapidly away using its closely arranged back scales for friction.

While the Na’vi are a highly mobile species in themselves, they have been seen employing wrist- and shinguards made from Yoten skin that enhance their natural climbing abilities and allow them to hang on to trees and cliffsides for extended periods of time while hunting or laying an ambush.
