Don’t let their bright color and five-armed, flower-like appearance fool you, the Hellfire Wasp is a Pandoran insect that you most certainly want to avoid. With an average wingspan of eleven inches (28 cm) and bright, bioluminescent patterns, it is easy to mistake clusters of Hellfire Wasps as Pandoran flora. However, if a swarm is disturbed they will attack mercilessly, inspiring a Na’vi idiom: “srefwa sngap zize’” (before the Hellfire Wasp stings).
