The Tayrangi Clan inhabits an area along the dramatic coastal cliffs of the Eastern Sea region of Pandora. Known as the “Ikran People”, Pandora’s Banshees play a central role in this clan’s culture and emphasis. Members of this clan are aerial aces- experts at banshee flight and diving who have undergone strict training and discipline to achieve their famed skill. They have developed a unique type of Banshee fishing, whereby Banshee riders will dive into the ocean at high speeds, seeking large aquatic prey beneath the waves. Rider and Banshee can remain fully submerged for some time, before bursting back into the sky with a powerful exit.

When Toruk Makto called for aid at the Battle of the Hallelujah Mountains, the Tayrangi, led by their Olo’eykte Ikeyni, answered. They flew in the battle against the RDA forces, lending their expertise to the aerial encounter and slowing the RDA’s inexorable advance.
