The Celia Fruit Tree (Na’vi: “tumpasuk”) is a deciduous native to the Valley of Mo’ara which produces seed pods that extrude a long, tendril-like strand of edible berries. These berries are a common food source for Pandora’s intermediate consumers like the tetrapteron and prolemuris. The Na’vi harvest Celia Fruit by scaling these trees, hanging upside-down from the branches, and cutting loose the strand from within the seed pod, while another team of Na’vi waits below to catch the berries in a woven net, so as to not damage the ripe fruit.
