The Squid Fruit Tree (Na’vi: “fyìpmaut”) is a large, spine-covered jungle tree native to the Valley of Mo’ara. Named for its bright blue, squidlike seed pod, this tree is a staple part of Na’vi diet. The Squid Fruit harvested from the tree can be consumed raw, or prepared in a variety of ways to accent other dishes. Its taste is comparable to a salty rhubarb.
