Hawnutu’un
The father of the Trr’ong Clan and a legendary warrior, Hawnutu’un is enshrined in legend among the Tipani murals as one of those who answered the call of Entu, the first Toruk Makto, saving the Tree of Souls from destruction.
Prior to founding the Trr’ong Clan, Hawnutu’un went on a journey that would become known as the Path of Pänuyu, the Path of the Promiser.
On this path, Hawnutu’un climbed the peaks of the Hallelujah Mountains. There, he held the blossom of the Flamingo Orchid, dreaming what it dreamt. Next, he tamed the Thanator, walking with death and death with him. Third, he clothed himself with the shell of the Cuirass Crab, entering the lair of the Viperwolf and dreaming what they dreamt. Finally, he stood on the western edge of the Trr’ong land, marking the end of his journey.
Generations later, via a vision at the Trees of Voices, Hawnutu’un would show a bereaved So’lek the path, spurring the young Na’vi to follow in his footsteps.
