Q&A
Most challenging part of your job?
Dealing with the size difference between the actors and the final on-screen characters. We have to maintain the integrity of the actor's performance while still reconciling the size difference between humans and the Na'vi.
What's surprising about your job?
Most people wouldn't realize how much work we do to get to the final performance that they see on the screen.
Most memorable thing about seeing Avatar in theaters?
How big it was! Not just the IMAX 3D experience, but the overall scope of the film. The story, the action, concepts are all much bigger than what we had seen at that time.
