Roxto
A young Na’vi of the Metkayina Clan, Rotxo was close friends with Ao’nung and Tsireya and frequently accompanied them on tasks or responsibilities. Rotxo was wise for his age, quietly learning from his elders and his friends as he navigated the transition to adulthood. He recognized the authority structures in place, but found new ways to navigate them to better himself and his clan.
Though initially skeptical of the Sully family, during the time between their arrival to the Metkayina Clan and the Battle at the Three Brothers Rocks, Rotxo grew close to the Sully children- particularly Kiri- and helped to teach them the Metkayina way of life while sharing in their adventures. Ultimately, Rotxo mourned the death of Neteyam alongside those closest to the Sullies.
After Neteyam’s funeral, he was eager to lend his effort to help the Sully family prepare the Metkayina for future conflict with the RDA. Though dissuaded by Ronal, Rotxo saw the increasing burden falling on the shoulders of Lo’ak. After Lo’ak departed the Metkayina to seek his banished Tulkun brother Payakan, Rotxo, along with Tsireya and Ao’Nung, rallied to follow him. Returning to the Metkayina with Lo’ak, Payakan and Ta’nok, Rotxo demonstrated his respect for Lo’ak by declaring himself outcast if the Tulkun council would not hear his friend’s plea.
In the Battle of the Cove of the Ancestors, Rotxo defended the Tulkun mothers and calves heroically, but was killed by a Crab Suit pilot. His friends mourn his sacrifice.
