Within the broken root columns of their collapsed Hometree, the Mangkwan have adapted to shelter themselves in tough, hand-crafted yurts. These family dwellings are durable structures designed to resist the harsh environment that the Mangkwan call home, with heavy hide canopies and a strong wooden structure created from harvested trees that can withstand wind and ash blow.

Though they reject the path of Eywa, the artistic skill of the Na’vi is still on display among the methods used to create and adorn these dwellings. They are frequently marked with skulls, bones, and the severed kuru of the Na’vi they have conquered.
