Not one to be kept from the skies, Neytiri sought a second ikran after mourning Seze’s death, naming her Sa’ata. Together Sa’ata and Neytiri became a fearsome pair in their own right, flying in dangerous and effective raids against the RDA’s resurging forces. Whether through her own natural skill, Neytiri’s experienced guidance, or a combination of the two, Sa’ata is an expert flier and capable of going wing to wing with the RDA’s air forces.

When the Wind Trader caravan was attacked by Mangkwan, Neytiri and Sa’ata were both injured at the hand of Varang and her Nightwraith. Demonstrating the depth of the bond between a Na’vi and their ikran, Sa’ata found Neytiri in the wreckage and spirited her back to safety at High Camp, where they both recovered. Later, after Jake’s surrender to the RDA, Neytiri and Sa’ata flew a dangerous mission to rescue him. Their combined experience enabled them to evade the RDA’s forces and deal significant damage to Bridgehead’s infrastructure before escaping with Jake and Spider.
